How Pilot works this out

Pilot reuses a deterministic working-days engine that excludes weekends according to each country’s pattern and removes public holidays resolved for the relevant year, including movable feasts computed from Easter where applicable.

Adding business days steps forward one calendar day at a time, skipping non-working days until the required count is reached. Counting between dates tallies working days, weekend days and excluded holidays separately.

The supported calendars include the UK, US, Germany, France, Singapore, Kenya, Hong Kong and more. Where a country is not supplied, Pilot states the calendar it used.
